JÖNKÖPING, 22 July 2026 — sSystm today announced a fundamental expansion of its platform: what began as a modular workspace for agencies is becoming a complete business operating system for companies of every size — one that assembles itself around the tools a company already uses, keeps every customer’s data on their own cloud, and puts a human in control of every AI action.

At the center of the expansion is sSystm’s forthcoming Agent module — a layer that lets a company connect the tools it already runs and have sSystm build the surfaces, data, and workflows around them, automatically. Instead of buying ten disconnected apps and wiring them together, a business points sSystm at what it has, and the system takes shape around it.

You choose where your data lives — and it stays there. At setup, a company chooses its data region: the EU for GDPR, the US, APAC, Oceania — even FedRAMP for US government work. That choice isn’t a label on a policy page. It’s enforced at the infrastructure level: both the database and file storage are pinned to the chosen jurisdiction. Pick the EU, and your personal data physically stays in the EU — provably, not promised.

This is the exact problem that has made pooled international SaaS a legal minefield for European companies. When data can quietly cross borders, GDPR’s rules on international transfers become a permanent liability. sSystm removes the question entirely: your data was placed where you chose, and it never leaves.

Data sovereignty, not data trust. Because each company’s data lives on its own cloud, under its own chosen jurisdiction — never pooled into a shared vendor database — you remain the clear controller of your data. Data-subject rights like access, portability, and erasure are straightforward when the data was never scattered across a third party’s systems. NIS2 and the national cybersecurity laws now taking effect across EU member states put responsibility for third-party and supply-chain risk directly on an organization’s management. sSystm shrinks that risk at the source: when your data and services don’t sit inside a vendor’s shared infrastructure, there are fewer third parties holding it, a smaller attack surface to defend, and a far clearer line of accountability when regulators ask who is responsible for what. Human oversight of AI, by design (EU AI Act). As the EU AI Act raises the bar for meaningful human oversight of AI, sSystm is already there: AI proposes, a person approves, and nothing acts autonomously on a company’s behalf. Oversight isn’t a setting to switch on — it’s how the platform works.

Live today, and what’s next

Real-time collaborative documents — multiple people editing the same document live, and fully usable offline — are available now, running on each customer’s own infrastructure. Built-in real-time video and meetings are rolling out as part of the same integrated real-time layer.

The Agent module — the self-assembling core of the new sSystm — is in active development and will be the platform’s flagship capability at launch.
