Billing

Quotes and invoices, PDF-ready, OCR-numbered.

#What Billing does

Quotes and invoices as clean, print-grade PDFs with OCR payment references — fed by the time your team already logged.

  • Quotes & invoices in one flow. Both document types, one editor, clear statuses — draft, sent, accepted, declined, paid, overdue. Nothing lives in a second tool.
  • Proper PDF documents. Every quote and invoice renders as a branded, print-grade PDF — your logo, your accent colour, your business details — straight from the browser.
  • OCR payment references. Every invoice carries a machine-checkable OCR reference (Luhn checksum) printed in its payment box, next to due date, amount and bankgiro.
  • Fed by Projects. Pull a project's billable time straight into the invoice's line items, so billable work never goes unbilled.

#Create a quote or invoice

  1. On the Billing page, switch between the Invoices and Quotes tabs and click New.
  2. The editor covers title, customer, project, status, issue/due dates (valid-until for quotes), currency, tax rate and an optional discount (percent or amount).
  3. Add line items by hand, or click Pull in billable time to convert the linked project’s billable hours into lines.
  4. Click Add from catalog to insert a reusable service or product from your catalogue — name and unit price come along.
  5. Totals (subtotal, discount, tax, total) update live as you type. Save, then Preview / PDF renders the branded document — print or save as PDF straight from the browser.

#The service & product catalogue

Open Catalog to manage reusable services and products (name, description, unit price). Anything in the catalogue can be pulled into any quote or invoice — no re-typing rates.

Every invoice automatically carries a machine-checkable OCR reference (Luhn checksum over the invoice number) printed in its payment box next to due date, amount, bankgiro/plusgiro/IBAN.

#On the Cloudflare side

  • Quotes and invoices live in the platform database, but the customer and project on each document resolve against your own BYOC D1.
  • PDFs render straight in the browser — no external document service touches your invoices.
