Common questions
Short answers to the things people actually arrive wondering about.
#About your data
- Where is my data, really? On the cloud account you connected — your clients, documents, files and project data. What sits on our side is the minimum needed to run and bill the service. Your data.
- Can you read my clients’ data? It is on your account, under your control, and you can lock us out of it from your own dashboard at any time without losing any of it.
- What happens if I stop paying? Your database is on your account. It stays there. Export is free and always available.
- Can I get everything out? Yes, in a portable format, at any time, at no cost. It is not a premium feature.
- Can I guarantee my data stays in the EU? Yes, if you choose the EU region when you connect. That is an infrastructure-level guarantee, not a policy promise — and it is fixed at creation, so choose it then.
#About AI
- Can AI send emails or publish posts as me? No. There is deliberately no send tool and no publish tool. It can draft a newsletter word for word and cannot mail it. What your AI can do.
- Can AI see more than I can? No. A connection carries your permissions and cannot exceed them or grant itself more.
- Can AI reach another organisation’s data? No. Every action is scoped to one organisation on the server.
- Will AI change my infrastructure on its own? No. Those actions are held for a person to approve, and it will say it is waiting rather than claim success.
- How do I turn AI off? Revoke the token. One connection, all of your connections, or remove the person entirely — each takes effect immediately.
- Do I have to use your AI? No. Connect the AI you already pay for and it works your real workspace. Connect your AI.
#About your team
- How do I add someone? Send an invite link. It is single-use and expires, and they set up their own sign-in — you never share credentials.
- Someone cannot see a module. Why? Their role lacks its read permission. The menu shows only what a person can use.
- Can I give someone access to just one thing? Yes. Permissions are per module, read and write separately, and your organisation decides what each role holds. Workspaces, roles & permissions.
- Can a client log in and see their project? Share the project with the client rather than inviting them into your workspace.
- What happens when someone leaves? Remove them from the workspace. Sign-in, permissions and any AI access end at once.
#Practical things
- Do I have to connect a cloud account to start? No — the product works before you connect, and connecting later moves you onto your own account. Doing it first means nothing has to move. Your first hour.
- Do I have to turn on every module? No, and you should not. Add them when a real piece of work asks for one.
- Can I use my own domain and my own sending address? Your cloud account is yours, including its domains.
- Does time logged on a project become an invoice? Yes — billable hours pull straight into invoice lines instead of being reconstructed at month end.
- Where do I see what changed in a release? The changelog. Live service health is on status.
- Something is broken and this page did not help. Get help — a human answers.
